1591 photos went into this panorama. Taken from the roof of my office building, I was extremely nervous at first about the 24 story drop to the street below and what might happen if a gust of wind knocked the camera over. I secured the tripod pretty well with bricks and as the shoot got underway, I realized all would be well. This is the largest Gigapan I've yet published (took more than 24 hours to stitch), and my batteries performed like champions. I'm also very happy with the final product. Lots to see here...take a deeper look.
The river you see in the distance is the Hudson River.
