Comments on Gigapan: Zabriskie Point

  2. One of the classic morning shots in Death Valley National Park - surprisingly, I had the viewpoint all to myself when I arrived. These are mostly Tertiary sediments that have been significantly tilted in their relatively short geological lifetime - an indication of how active the tectonics of this region are.
