Výstavbou víceúčelové věže na Bílé hoře se zařadily Kopřivnice a Štramberk mezi jedny z mála míst Severní Moravy, která se mohou pochlubit tak významnou dominantou jako je rozhledna.
Rozhledna na Bílé hoře byla již v záměrech pana Dr. Adolfa Hrstky na počátku tohoto století jako kamenná mohyla, jež měla být památníkem obětem první světové války a zároveň umožňovat návštěvníkům kopce Bílá hora (v té době lysého) co nejlepší rozhled do kraje. .... rozhledna-bila-hora.cz/informace

Lookout at Bílá hora
its building was suggested by Dr. Hrstka at the beginning of the last century, at that time as a wooden structure (architect Dušan Jurkovič), later as a stone mound (architect Bohumil Sláma) to commemorate soldiers killed in World War 1, at the same time , it offer a perfect view of the landscape (Beskydy Mts., Jeseníky,Oderské vrchy) to visitors of Bílá hora. The present tower is a modernly conceived work of art by architect Milan Šmíd who, on purpose, copied the structure of DNA. The work measures 43 m in height, the lookout gallery is at 26 m above ground level.The road to the lookout starts at the statue of the Virgin Mary at the end of Belohorská ulička. The spirally winding Sluneční stezka (Sun-lane) is bordered by 12 signs of the zodiac.
