Description

This is a typical "Atelier 5" balcony. It's just after heavy rain. Beautiful light conditions.

Exposure is variable (YES the camera was NOT set to a fixed exposure time.) The GiGaPan stitcher can't cope with this ... I will upload the same images stiched by AutoPano (demo-version) for comparison.

Coverage with the 135mm Nikkor f=2.0 at F=16. The key problem is: depth of field (DOF) can't compete against a wide angle i.e. 35mm. Trouble is: at 135mm there is only few objects in mid-distance i.e crystal clear = in focus.

Next time I use the 105mm macro to obtain higher DOF. This will provide up to f=32.
