There are 778 graduating seniors this year for the schools thirty-second commencement program, which was held outdoors in the school stadum in the evening of May 21, 2008 . Their parents and relatives are in the stands. The graduating students sat in a grid on the field facing the stage and speakers on the south end of the field. There are 2 columns of students in the grid, one on the east side of the field and one on the west side. The students are in alphebetical order with the “A”s on the east side near the stage and the “Z”s on the west size far from the stage. The seniors closest to the camera have last names that begin with “L”. This senior class includes 29 National Merit Scholarship Finalists.
