This lake holds some of our drinking water and is also used for recreation and habitat. You can see that the marsh in the forground is home to many water birds and their prey. The beach is a popular place on this 97 degree day, and good shade is the other great place to be. The hills behind this are fine in the morning and evening but are a bad place to be at this time of day.
