The early morning sun has been up just over an hour and bathes the surrounding peaks with a warm glow. The shoulder of the mountain is reflected in a small pond beside the road. In the background is Crowfoot Mountain and glacier adjacent to Bow Lake. The same area just 3 weeks ago I encountered a grizzly and her two cubs just 50 feet from where I was shooting this panorama.
Be sure to visit this area at least once in your lifetime.
