- Description
-
View of Little Tupper Lake at dusk from our weekend campsite in the Adirondack Mountains. The lake is home to one of the half dozen or so remaining strains of native brook trout in New York. Until a few years ago, no non-native predatory fish had been introduced here. Largemouth bass are now present, and the long-term survival of the Little Tupper trout is less certain.
