- Description
-
This area should not be opened up to Off Road Vehicles. Some of us care to protect our hills. A large area to the East is currently used and abused by ORVs and that is fine. This land does not bounce back quickly.
This hill is well named. See if you can find the buck in the snapshot without clicking on the snapshot.
A friend and I planted hundreds of acorns on these slopes, and a few dozen seedlings and small trees are now apparent. Some of the other shots along Tesla road also provide me with a snapshot of what is out here and how big it is now. This is South East of Livermore California.
The acorns will be back again in a month, and we will mark our trails with acorns from nearby oaks. Over time, we have restored and created new habitat with little hard work involved.
