Actually located about half way between Thunder Bay and Nipigon, Ontario, Canada (48' 47''N 88' 40'' W). This canyon was apparently formed by glacial activites and underground water flows eating away the rock. The whole thing runs down toward Lake Superior. I'd guess the shear walls are about 150' high and as you can see it runs die straight for quite some distance before turning out of sight. Thre is a provincial park on site but almost no mention in any of the travel info. Really quite breath taking.
