Calgary is extending its Light Rail Transit system and part of that expansion includes building a 1.5 km elevated guideway for the trains (see www.westlrt.ca Will open in a new tab or window). This pano shows the yellow Launching Truss used to lift and place pre-cast concrete segments that form the guideway.
