Dairy Bush GigaPan - 51 - August 18 2010
Cool day, not many mosquitoes. The False Solomon Seal (Smilacina racemosa) is starting to yellow. The bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) has drooped since last week. There appears to be damage to the leafs – and I found a small weevil (Coleoptera; Curculionidae) in the plant. No wind, lots of squirrel activity. The field to the north of the bush was partially hay’ed this week.
