    There is no grass ... what you see is in no way related to grass. There use to be grass in this yard up until a few years ago ... since then drought has killed what grass was there ... for grass to return, grass would have to be replanted. The deer are gratful for the rain too.

    The grass in this picture doesn't look very green. Are the folks in San Antonio greatful for all the rain they are getting or is the weather really bad?

    The deer are sort of tame as they will come up and feed while people are standing around but these deer were certainly fasinated by Wendy's presence. Really to answer your question, these deer run loose in this neighborhood and where I use to live, behind our home was a very large fenced area where at times it seemed that there were 100s of deer. That was in the 60s and 70s.

    Are these deer wild? I assumed you were in a park of some sort like erm, a deer park.

    Thanks Tom. The deer got their corn for supper, Wendy got to see something she had not seen before and I got a good looking GigaPan. A good time was shared by all.
