GP99 The lovely Cornish fishing village of Port Isaac. This village on the north coast of Cornwall is a genuine fishing village.
It is also home to "The Fisherman's Friends" sea shanty group.
I've just been down there filming this great bunch of chaps for a documentary film about them for ITV. Transmission will probably be at the end of the year.
The village is also used as a location for the tv series "Doc Martin" with Martin Clunes.

This is the annual fund raising day for the RNLI Lifeboats which is held on the Platt. Silver bands, jazz bands, Punch and Judy, bouncy castle, splat the rat, face painting, competitions: in fact everything required for a good "Midsomer Murder" is here. Only Inspector Barnaby is missing.

I don't usually like shooting moving crowds because of the chopping up of people that the process inevitably produces, but this is a fun one, so see if you can find several people up to their waists in quicksand, odd feet and TWO CUDDLY MONKEYS!!
