The Karwendel is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the northern limestone Alps. The Karwendel is situated north of the Inn valley and the city of Innsbruck (capital of Tirol). With its 54325ha (134182 acres) the Karwendel is Austria's largest nature reserve. Because it is lower in altitude and also not spread over several smaller areas, it also contains more variety than other reserves making the Karwendel unique.
The panorama was shoot from the Westliche Karwendelspitze. Great view across Mittenwald and the Karwendelbahn cable car station.

Hi all, thank you! It took me 56 minutes to take all pictures. Even I had to swap the camera battery after a few rows as I forgot to use a fresh battery. Stitching time was around 3h using PTgui. I did slice the panorama in 12 parts as usually stitching goes much faster with smaller slices. In the end I had to merge the parts back into one image. This was done with Photoshop.

Hi gigapanbot, you made again a great panorama. Can you share a few details how long it took to take the pictures, which SW are you using and how long did it take to stitch the final image?
