This overview from the Manhattan Beach Pier shows the final games of the 2010 Manhattan Beach Open Vollyball tournament. This was the 50th year anniversary of this event known as the "Wimbledon of Beach Vollyball" and the grand daddy of beach volleyball.
With the recent demise of the AVP beach volleyball league the City of Manhattan Beach took on the lead roll in making this years event happen.
Going back to former rules and court size this years Manhattan Beach Open went back to the past creating an 'Old School' style event on the beach without a large bleacher seating stadium and the accompanying hoopla.
The MB Open 2010 was won by local favorites Sean Rosenthal & Aaron Watchfogal.
