Another handheld one, this time of Echternach from the start of E1 - the Maurice Cosyn Pfad (path) - see also www.gigapan.org/gigapans/58044/ . It goes all the way to Diekirch, but we only walked along to the Gorge du Loup - a surprise in that it doesn't fill full of falling stuff and the there's a viewpoint from either side - though the view is somewhat obscured by trees. Anyway, before all that there's a good view of the city. The huge building is the Benedictine Abbey with its twin towers, the second lot of two towers to its right is the Eglise SS Pierre et Paul. We're parked over on the left at the bus station which was free, but you pay elsewhere in the town.
Note to Dorling-Kindersley: your guidebook is rubbish at this path - the picture assigned to Gorge du Loup is actually of Werschrumschluff and the legend "5" on the map for Werschrumschluff is hopelessly wrong - it should be just above the legend "4" for Predigstuhl. All of which are interesting places to visit, but it would be better to find them more easily!
