This is another pano I did from before I got my Epic 100, and it very well bears a revisit and re-do now that I have the GigaPan rig!
This was shot on Nov. 4, 2009, at 5:45pm, while visiting the city with a friend and showing him the sights. It was a gorgeous and clear day, and there's great visibility over into Oakland, Marin, etc.
I've spent a good bit of time tweaking the geolocation so it matches properly. Do try it out in Google Earth! (Link to the right, just above the map.) :-)
Note: The Field of View isn't showing the vertical value, for some reason I can't figure out. But it's about 11 degrees, if you were wondering.
The image is (surprisingly) composed of only 14 shots, each at 10 Mpix, and it's a 14w x 1h linear arrangement, shot from left to right. When I redo it with the Epic 100 rig, I'll use full zoom of the lens, and try to get some more rows of shots, rather than just the one.
