Sun Point weather station is a fully automated remote weather station run by the USGS Climate Change in Mountain Ecosystems program at Glacier National Park. Data from the site will soon be available online, representing weather patterns of the St. Mary drainage on the east side of Glacier National Park and used to assess climate change effects by the USGS.
Visit the Climate Change in Mountain Ecosystems (CCME) website to learn more about how climate change is effecting Glacier National Park and how USGS scientists are documenting Glacier's landscape with GigaPan technology.
