    Hi Kilgore- I will over the next 2 days do several gigapans both with the Canon G10 and with the newish Canon A3100. Of course the G10 is a nicer camera, but the A3100 is far, far less expensive and we want to understand how big the tradeoff is as we consider which models best suit educational use.
