Wood Lake Nature Center is a 150-acre (0.61 sq.km.) nature preserve in the suburban Twin Cities. It's very quiet; except for the airliners flying overhead, you'd never think you were in a large city. In addition to Wood Lake, the park contains mixed lowland forest, cattail marsh and restored prairie habitats. You can learn more at www.woodlakenaturecenter.org
