Mt Ka`ala Bog, Oahu by Richard Palmer

Mt. Ka`ala Natural Area Reserve bog, 4,000 ft. elevation, Waianae Volcano, Oahu. This dwarf stature `Ohi`a forest harbors many rare and endangered plants and animals. Its perimeter is fenced to keep it free of feral pigs, which rototill the soil and topple tree ferns. The open area at the top of the rise in the foreground is pig damage.

This is a manually composed panorama with focus and motion flaws. I shall compare it to a Gigapan derived image as soon as feasible.
