The Hart Prairie Preserve (www.nature.org/hartprairie
) is located at 8,600' and at the base of Arizona’s highest mountains—the San Francisco Peaks. The 245-acre nature preserve is home to old growth ponderosa pines and a rare community of Bebb willow trees as well as elk, deer, prairie dogs and numerous species of birds. All power for the preserve's main lodge and guest cabins is generated by solor power. (To see panorama 2 click here: www.gigapan.org/gigapans/62269 )GPS COORDINATES:
