- Description

Many of the test tubes in this growing room contain tissue culture propagules/sterile culture seedlings of many of Hawai`i's rarest plants. A number of the species represented here have fewer than 10 individual plants remaining in the wild; a few with no known living wild specimens. Hawai`i comprises just 0.2% (1/500) of the land area of the United States, but harbors nearly 1/3 of the threatened and endangered plant and animal species in the entire country.
I set the white balance and exposure for this panorama, and used auto focus. There are a few auto focus artifacts evident - see if you can find them.
