This image shows the 2007 Moonlight Fire, in the Upper North Fork Feather River Watershed. All of the land in this image burned. The privately owned lands in the image are mainly owned by Sierra Pacific Industries, and most have been salvage logged (fire-killed trees removed). Most of the unlogged lands in this image are public lands managed by the US Forest Service.
