This northward looking view of Arlington, Virginia and Washington, DC was taken from the observation deck of the George Washington Masonic Memorial (www.gwmemorial.org Will open in a new tab or window/) in Alexandria, Virginia on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010.

The safety cage on the deck prohibited me from taking a wider pan that would have included Old Town in Alexandria, VA.
