This gigapan is a macro gigapan shot using a Canon G9 and the beta mount. I just grabbed a bunch of junk lying on my desk to use as the subject for this gigapan. The bluriness is caused by the camera and gigapan vibrating at the end of my tripod when the normally-vertical mast is in the horizontal boom position.

Nice Glen! A trick to try if you haven't already: turn on the camera's 2-second timer. This lets the motion damp before taking the picture. You'll have to increase the "time per picture" setting on the gigapan to leave enough time between pictures. Also turn off image stabilization (don't understand why, but it helps with longer exposures using Canon cameras).
