A view of San Francisco as the sun has begun to set. The downtown buildings are bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun, while the foreground buildings are already in deep shadow from Twin Peaks, which is behind you in this photo. This was taken from the top of a pedestrian walkway near Grandview that crosses Market Street.
It was a beautiful, clear, warm day today, and the visibility was excellent. You can clearly see the bell tower at UC Berkeley, across the bay, and that's about 13 miles from this location.
