This was the 2nd pano I took and was also my first
week with a DSLR. I learned a great deal about
that camera on that trip (aside just how hard it
is to lug that thing back out). Yeah, this is a
hard one to do. I wish I had gotten the picture
about 2 minutes earlier when the colors were
richer and before the sun blinded the camera.
Later in the afternoon IMO doesnt look nearly as
interesting. Next time I go out there I hope to do
a better job (Im slowly getting the hang of this
stuff)
You've got me thinking about how hard it must
be to get a good panoramic photo of the Grand
Canyon. Even with the sun behind the camera, there
would still be a lot of shadows and contrast.
Perhaps around noon?
