The geology laboratory at Northern Virginia Community College's Annandale campus is well equipped with a diverse suite of rock samples, microscopes, maps, fossils, and models.
Great looking lab, Callan. I think you could solve
most of the focus issues by reshooting it at
similar resolution with autofocus on - there
aren't too many spots where there appears to
be a big focus depth contrast and I suspect
there's probably enough detail that the
camera's autofocus shouldn't choke trying
to find some detail to focus on.
Antarctica -- you're totally right. I'm
new at this Gigapanning game, and decided to try
this one as an experiment to see what happened if
I set the focus halfway out. I'm not pleased
with the results -- for the reason you mentioned.
I'll go back and shoot it again on autofocus.
Nice lab, but unfortunately all these interesting
maps and other great details at the walls are not
readable on the picture despite of its 3.6 gpx.
Perhaps it is worth to reshoot the lab with
This is an awesome high-tech lab; two big
monitors, a projector, four computers. Will the
Emriver make tiny kame terraces?
