Great looking lab, Callan. I think you could solve most of the focus issues by reshooting it at similar resolution with autofocus on - there aren't too many spots where there appears to be a big focus depth contrast and I suspect there's probably enough detail that the camera's autofocus shouldn't choke trying to find some detail to focus on.

Antarctica -- you're totally right. I'm new at this Gigapanning game, and decided to try this one as an experiment to see what happened if I set the focus halfway out. I'm not pleased with the results -- for the reason you mentioned. I'll go back and shoot it again on autofocus.

Nice lab, but unfortunately all these interesting maps and other great details at the walls are not readable on the picture despite of its 3.6 gpx. Perhaps it is worth to reshoot the lab with autofocus on.

This is an awesome high-tech lab; two big monitors, a projector, four computers. Will the Emriver make tiny kame terraces?
