Description

This is a good example of how the three man team works together to sample and assess the hives in each apiary. Two men in the hives - one man recording notes and doing damage control.

If you zoom in you can see that both researchers have gone into the bottom box of the hive.
we go into every hive the same way, you start by cracking the lid open, then you remove the top box, set it on the ground, and begin pulling and reading frames from the bottom box. Once the bottom box has been gone through, the top box is put back on the hive and frames are pulled and read from the top box. Once all of the frames in the top and bottom box have been read and an alcohol and frozen bee sample has been taken the lid is placed back on the hive and we move onto the next one.
