Special thanks to Joe & Mika. The Beirut Central District (BCD) is the name given to Beirut’s historical and geographical core, the “vibrant financial, commercial, and administrative hub of the country.” It is situated on the city’s northern coast and includes many monuments and places of importance to the citizens of Beirut, including Martyrs' Square. Beirut Central District is sometimes called Solidere, after the company of the same name founded by Rafik Hariri that has undertaken reconstruction of the neighborhood after the Lebanese Civil War. Thanks a lot Gerald. Whenever I fly back home for holidays, I try to make a Gigapan. There are plenty of nice locations there specially from the mountains overlooking the city, but unfortunately my trips are very short! See you on day!

Hello Alfred, First of all I never said anything bad on your panorama and specially on your hard work! Second I owe you some publicity in return definitely! Thank for stopping by and hope to meet you one day.

Looks like you got a lot of publicity since yesterday. 45 to 60 now. You should say some good word on my panorama. Don't you! BTW, I like this image.
