Description

This is a gigapan of the Green Citadel in Magdeburg, Germany, the last work of Friedensreich Hunderwasser, the Austrian artist and architect. It's a fairly wild and crazy piece of construction and replaced a humdrum and run-down apartment building complex with this. There are several inner courtyards as well, and scarcely a straight line anywhere. :-)

This is a 220 image gigapan taken straight from the camera, no processing whatsoever. The weather was very cold and rather dismal and there were some apparent issues with the battery, leading to numerous auto-shutdowns, These generated a number of duplicates and apparently one ommission...
