A crystal clear day in the winter of 1978. In the distance: Catalina Island, Palos Verdes, Santa Monica and San Gabriel Mts. Close by, Newport Fashion Island, UC Irvine (my alma mater) and the Irvine villages of Turtle Rock and University Park.
