Description

Challenging weather here for Earth Hour. Overcast with snowfall and a bit of rain. As can be seen in this gigapan the Calgary Tower is dark, as are the ScotiaBank and Telus Buildings. The Calgary Transportaion Department is on board with Earth Hour as they have turned off decorative lights on the Langevin Bridge. The Parks and Recreation Department - or maybe it's the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation - has not switched off accent lights on and around the Simmons Warehouse Historic Building. Curious, that.
