Description

Gigapan from just prior to (and during) the moment of our departure for the Antarctic Penninsula on the Research Vessel Lawrence M. Gould (one of the National Science Foundation's icebreakers). We are heading to the James Ross Archipelago and members of several teams of researchers, ship's crew and Raytheon-ers (research support) are visible.
