Blazers vs. Lakers by Bruce Ely

Oregonian photographer Bruce Ely - www.bruceely.com  - created this Gigapan during the final regular season meeting of the Blazers and Lakers at the Rose Garden on April 8, 2011. The image is made up of 600 individual photos taken over a 45-minute span and stitched together to form one large image. The final high resolution picture is 102,984 X 45,684 pixels or 4,704 megapixels. The image is not supposed to represent one moment in the game. There are numerous stitching "errors". These are usually caused by a person that is partially in a picture moving to a different location by the time my camera made another pass.
