This is a panorama taken from a famous photogenic spot in Tuscany, Italy in May 2007. The white building in the distance at the left is the Cappella di Vitaleta, which graces many postcards, calendars, and even fridge magnets of Tuscany. The spot is on Highway #146 between San Quirico d'Orcia and Pienza. The mountain at the horizon on the right is Monte Amiata. We were led to this spot by our hobby of geocaching, the international game which uses GPS co-ordinates. Often times the geocache is located at spectacular views --- but most of the time not as well-known as this one, instead, most geocache sites are personal favourites and little-known jewels. The geocache waypoint code for this photo is GCGA2D, keyword "Picture Perfect". You can learn more about geocaching at www.geocaching.com Will open in a new tab or window
