Esta gigapanorama fue tomada durante la celebración de la Semana Santa, Miercoles Santo 20 de Abril de 2011; al exponer la gigapanorama se nota una extraña iluminación en las ventanas laterales y central de la Basílica, en las ventanas laterales se resalta una cruz y en la central especie de una corona.
Todo es cuestion de Fe.

La Basílica de Santa Teresa se encuentra ubicada en la esquina de La Palma y Santa Teresa de la ciudad de Caracas y constituye uno de los más importantes templos católicos de la ciudad. Allí se venera la imagen del Nazareno de San Pablo durante las festividades de Semana Santa.

Declarada Monumento Histórico Nacional en el año 1959, los trabajos de construcción se iniciaron en el año 1877 y finalizaron en el año 1881, inaugurándose el 28 de octubre como Iglesia de Santa Teresa en honor a la esposa del presidente Guzmán Blanco, doña Ana Teresa. Para erigirla, se encargó el trabajo al ingeniero y arquitecto Juan Hurtado Manrique, quien lo hizo en estilo neoclásico, tan popular en aquellos tiempos en las diferentes capitales europeas.

La fachada del sector oeste está dedicada a Santa Ana y la del sector este a Santa Teresa. Esta basílica ha pasado por muchas contingencias, entre las que se cuenta el temblor del año 1900, no obstante lo cual, sigue en pie.

Fue declarada Basílica Menor por el Papa Pablo VI el 26 de marzo de 1974.

This gigapanorama was taken during the celebration of Holy Week, Wednesday April 20, 2011, by exposing gigapanorama noticed a strange light in the central and side windows of the Basilica, on the side windows and is highlighted in a cross and a sort of a crown in the central.
Is a matter of faith

The Basilica of Santa Teresa is located at the corner of La Palma and Santa Teresa in the city of Caracas and is one of the most important Catholic churches in the city. There is venerated image of the Nazareno de San Pablo during the Holy Week days.

Declarated as National Historic Monument in 1959, construction work began in 1877 and ended in 1881, was inaugurated on October 28 St. Teresa's Church in honor of the wife of President Guzman Blanco, Dona Ana Teresa. To build it, they commissioned the work the engineer and architect Juan Hurtado Manrique, who was in the neoclassical style, so popular at the time in different European capitals.

The facade of the western sector is dedicated to Santa Ana and east sector of Santa Teresa. The basilica has gone through many contingencies, including counting the earthquake of 1900, which however, still stands.

It was declared a Minor Basilica by Pope Paul VI on March 26, 1974.
