The famous unconformity at the northwestern border of the Lower Palaeozoic Stavelot-Venn basement inlier in the valley of the Ninglinspo (Belgium). The layers are overturned and dip to the south. On the outcrop the basal conglomerate and reddish claystone is exposed; both are of Lochkovian age. The slates below the unconformity are Cambrian in age.
