old97s.com Will open in a new tab or window/sarahjaffe.com Will open in a new tab or window/At the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland, OR, where The Old 97's & Sarah Jaffe played on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011, the Texas musicians were kind enough to sit for a gigapixel panorama.

Composited from 126 individual photos, spanning 30 minutes before the doors opened, this image is a collison of the space and time, where Sarah Jaffe and her band are able to watch their own sound check along with their friends, Rhett Miller, Murry Hammond, Ken Bethea, Philip Peeples.

Special thanks to Scott Danbom (one of my college roommates and still the most talented guy I've ever known) for making this photographic experiment possible.
