We found these ground orchids in Bogor Botanical Garden, Indonesia (more detailed information about Bogor Botanical Garden: www.bogorbotanicgardens.org /). The locals called this flower "Anggrek Tanah", or simply means ground orchid (Spathoglottis plicata). The flowers are actually smaller than tropical orchids in general although it shares the same shape and color. We encountered some difficulties when taking this picture; such as wind which made the entire plant swaying, and It’s very difficult to get all the flowers in focus; some of the blurred flowers were caused by the stitching error.
This panorama was taken by Prima Eriawan, Pramanda Dwiraputra, Riandini Najmi and Nadindra Almira of Al-Izhar School, Indonesia.
