This pano was taken with the AutoMate 1.0 motorized pano head from The Gadget Works (TheGadgetWorks.com). It shows the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco at night, and was taken from the roof of the International Hotel. Well-known Coit Tower is in the upper right. Enrico's and The Condor club and several other famous San Francisco night spots and landmarks appear in the pano.
(Note that there are no stitching problems even though the camera did not rotate about the "nodal point". This is because there are no objects in the near foreground, the only time you might have problems.)
