Bow Lake is the headwaters of the Bow River which supplies much of the water for southern Alberta including the city of Calgary. Needless to say, the water is pure and clean having been born in the glaciers just behind Crowfoot Mountain. On the right side is Simpson's Num Ti Ja lodge.

Another great Banff shot. One of my own best photos was taken from just about the same spot, though not a panoramic. Very nice.
