A great morning at Chennai Airport Cricket ground.
A reasonable amount of organisation goes into the games, times and pitch management.
I you think the grounds look crowded, wait untill you see the roads on the drive home.
I am always pleased by th ehospitality all have shown myself and my guests.
Sorry I chopped some heads and feet off.
"Learn by doing",this is what doing looks like at present.
This panorama was taken with a canon equipment, 1D4, 70-200mm F2.8 using a Giagpan head. The images have been processes in camera raw, Autopan Giga and Photoshop CS5.
The image has many flaws all of which have been a great learning experience.
To use auto focus instead of manual focus, to use an effective focal length of 257 mm, to shot the sky in a separate panorama on manual focus all produce issues so why not do them all at once.
After many attempts at different workflows I have emerged with this image and am please even with its many flaws because of the learning journey i have had which i will not bother to detail.
The plane, train and man urinating were taken after after the panorama and inserted in their actual locations
I have really enjoyed this cricket ground while working in India, on a sunday morning from 5 am till 10 am the place is full.
Many games are on at the same time, tough on my colleagues when they are hit in the lower plexus with a return ball!
Have fun counting the bats and balls.
Maurice
