Canon 70-200 EF III
- cityscapes, landscape
About the subject: Vancouver is famous for the classic Beaver and Otter float planes that operate from jetties just a few minutes’ walk from the downtown core. The distinctive noise of 1950s radial engines can be heard periodically and is part of the fabric of west coast life.
About the image: This is my first attempt at a Panorama using an Epic Pro, and this is mainly to get familiar with the device and the workflow involved with Gigapan stitcher.
The basic image consists of 225 individual images covering a 100 degree arc. They were taken with a Canon 50D fitted with a Canon EF 200 2.8 EF lens and processed via DXO and Gigapan Stitcher.
