I actually have never seen this glacier from this angle. We took a trip to this glacier twice and they were separated by decades. The second time I went my wife was dying to see the glaciers and was excited when we were taking the boat ride out to it. I think she was expecting to see those huge glaciers crashing into ocean as the cruise ships go by that we see in those promotional videos for Alaska and cruise ships. When we finally arrived and she saw the dirty glaciers you see in your Gigapan I knew she was disappointed because she basically went inside the cabin after 5 minutes. Expectations can kill the best experiences you'll never have because of them. Thanks for posting this!
