This is one of their large rail grinders www.loram.com/Services/Default.aspx?id=880 Will open in a new tab or window which employs dozens or even hundreds od spinning grindstones to smooth and shape the rails in order to make smoother and more efficient running for the very large freight trains using the tracks. Here it is preparing for a westbound run along the CN line from Edmonton.
