This is a Gigapan image taken in Chicago on August 7th from the Adler Planetarium across from the Shedd Aquarium over to Navy Pier. This is the last day of the Lolapalooza 2011 Festival so you can see some of the set-up in the trees in Grant Park. A large storm had just passed by, dragging all the clouds with it, so I had a few clear hours to take the picture in. I used a Nikon D700, 70-200mm f/2.8 lens set to 200mm with a Nikon 2X converter, giving me an effective 400mm length to work with. Shutter speed was 1/200s, aperture was f/18 and ISO was set at 200. The end result comprised of 270 images in 30 columns of 9 pictures each.
