Hi Paul, I think the vignetting of the G9 is pretty good - even compared to the DSLR tele lenses i own....Such a perfect blue sky will reveal vignetting on any lens, even prime lenses on a DSLR. Problem is the Gigapan Stitcher which is very good at aligning and positioning (even such featureless sky!) but obviously lacks advanced methods of de-vignetting and blending like PTGui or Autopano Pro.

Hi Bernhard, as to be seen vignetting is a problem with the G9, did you notice that evon on focallength, which is not on max limit? cheers Paul
